Gulf Island Tug and Barge offers marine services anywhere on the BC coast. Our professional crew operates our well-maintained fleet and equipment with a focus on safety, risk management, and customer service. Our captains and crew members are all certified by Transport Canada.
Owners Mike Child and Miles Rynes have worked in the marine industry for over 20 years. They spend most of their time on the water which gives them the insight, skills, and ability to offer an extensive range of marine services to companies and residents of the B.C. coast.
As a First Nation owned and operated company, one of our core values is to encourage employment for indigenous people. We understand that helping our employees make a good living contributes to creating a healthy community.
